In December I spent some time visiting a colleague at NUI Galway. I had a great time and Galway is a beautiful, fun city. Pubs a plenty too! Who would have thought I could find a pub in Ireland…
The Martin Ryan Marine Science Institute (funded by a donation Ryanair founder Tony Ryan) had a neat little natural history museum with some specimen from the Darwin’s HMS Beagle expedition. Below are just a few images I snapped from the Museum. Thanks a lot to Patrick and Bob at the Institute and the benthic lab for letting me crash there for a couple days and providing great company!
