Does licking the spoon clean count?
The problem with this is that the effort [0] is not only *considered* less, but really *is* less (otherwise market forces would solve the problem, which they obviously didn’t – the menace of disposable dishes and cutlery is spreading also here in Germany). IOW, the trouble with mankind is that we minimize effort only, wasting everything else.
[0] Even if we take into account that the refined oil is probably shipped to e.g. Korea to make polystyrene pellets which are shipped to China to make spoons.
