News media advertised for volunteers to help with the clean-up, only to be turned away. We needed the same decision making for declaring Texas a federal disaster so FEMA could step in and help. If we would have had that same quick decision, maybe things would be different. A bright note, a shrimp company has promised to restock the Gulf with baby shrimp when it is safe. Will it ever be that way again?
