Have you ever seen a cute birth? I’ve helped deliver a fair number of puppies and livestock and as cute as the babies are the birth is always a really yucky and smelly process.
I wonder how many baby whales are killed by predators shortly after birth? It seems to me all that blood/placenta/etc in the water would attract predators pretty quickly.
