President Barack Obama signed the Omnibus Public Land Management Act of 2009 into law yesterday, authorizing sustained funding for ocean exploration, mapping, coastal and ocean observation, ocean acidification research and monitoring, coastal and estuarine land conservation, and… shipwrecks!
