NE Pacific Expedition Day 11

Really no update today. I am merely killing time. We are sitting 50 nautical miles off San Francisco above Pioneer Seamount. The wind is blowing a steady 50 knots, with no end in site for the next 48 hours. With the swell and whitecaps it is much too harsh to safely launch and recover any equipment, much less a multimillion dollar ROV.

Here are some clams with anemones to keep you happy (as a clam?).
