We’ve discussed the Surfrider Foundation here a bit in the past. Founded in 1984, The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit grassroots organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of our world’s oceans, waves and beaches through conservation, activism, research and education.
The New Belgium Brewing Company, makers of one of my favorite beers – Fat Tire, is donating $10,000 to a water advocacy group. There are many great organizations on the list, but Surfrider has consistently performed with outstanding results in its 25 year existence. Now, they are asking for a little help. Go to New Belgium’s Skinny Dip challenge and place a vote for Surfrider and help them get a little extra cash to do a lot more for our oceans!
