The latest Boat U.S. Magazine identifies the top 25 four year schools with “the top marine programs and extracurricular boating activities.” It went about picking a school all wrong. What a great article! I spent my high school years doing these sorts of things, but I still wish I could have extended it into college. My high school had its own boat and we would walk on the beach and take field trips outside all the time, studying marine animals and the coastal environment. Fate had other plans for me, even though she is still working out the kinks! I still love the water and beaches, but I’m no coastal geologist – I’m a librarian.
