We marked the end of the first week of our Great Darwin Beard Challenge. Below are the contestants (minus whysharksmatters from Southern Fried Science who hasn’t submitted his photo yet) at T=1. If you are participating leave a link in the comments below.

I think Kevin has an unfair advantage: his pro photographer wife.
I’m not exactly sure what advantage she is conferring, but I feel nonetheless slighted by his rugged yet gentle portraits.
