New interview with Sylvia Earle

sylvia_earleDr. Sylvia Earle appears on the local news in Sandy, Utah as she helps to raise money for their new aquarium.  The interview is a good one, with some rare video footage I had never seen before. Sylvia continues to generate interest and concern for the ocean environment, even in landlocked states like Utah. She has helped to raise money for numerous research institutes like mine. She’s a true hero for the environment, but in this interview, she expresses her concern for a critically endangered species… us.

Even those of us hundreds of miles from the coast depend on healthy oceans. Sylvia says, “Every drop you drink, every breath you take, you’re connected to the ocean.”

Cue music. Sting. Where are you? Sting? Come in, please…
