Dr. Carole Baldwin of the Smithsonian’s National Museum of Natural History answers more of the questions submitted to her by DSN staff and readers. She tackles a wide range of subjects ranging from bioluminescence in lanternfish to endemic marine species in the Galapagos and the origin of the remora’s sucker plate. Her demeanor and approach are a lesson in communication for scientists everywhere.
